Rani walked slowly in corridor school which was crowded by Senior High School students. Her enthusiasm felt drastically. A cold sweat streamed down on her forehead. A roaring of laughter and students ridicule, especially some girls, made her head was mostly going to explode. Rani knew if she was mocked even be enemy for the whole of female students in Chandrawinata High School, as consequence of Randy, the most popular boy in the school who always follows her wherever she went. The destination to canteen which is only five minutes she felt took a long time. In canteen, Rani took place among her friends. She tread on a seat with relieved feeling combine dejected feeling.
“ What’s the matter, Ran? You look sad”. Rya asked.
“ I am very angry and so so fed up. That ghost still following me. Always watching over my step”. Rani answered while looked to the right where the place of Randy was sitting. Her friends, Rya, Gadis and Tya, are shale with laughter after they knew Rani’s mean. Rani became angry.
“ Stop laugh at me! Why, now you all like those girls in school corridor who always giggle everytime I through over there”. Rani shouted.
Rya, Gadis and Tya stopped laughing.
“ We are sorry, Ran. We just astonish with you. As we know, Randy is the most popular boy in our school. He has so charm. Why you don’t like that?”. Gadis gave her opinion.
“ Oh, girls. You did’nt know how my feeling about that. Wherever I wanna
go, Randy is always behind me. He always following me. Actually, I don’t care about
“ Calm down, girl. I’m sorry to hear that. But, why you don’t think like the way I’m. I think you are very lucky because you may consider Randy as your bodyguard. So, nobody can disturb you”. Tya suggested.
“ Oh, come on. I’m not child any more and I’m not a popular person. So, I don’t need a bodyguard guys!”.
“ Ok, ok. So, what will you do now?”. Tya asked.
“ Ah, I don’t know yet. I’m still confuse in what is the best way to make Randy stopped”. Rani wheezed slowly.
“ In my opinion, you should meet Randy face to face to talk about that”. Rya suggested.
“ Oh, no! I hate if I have to talk on him. I don’t like him”.
“ Well, Ran. You can’t do that. If you want Randy stopped, so you truly must to talk him”. Gadis said.
“ All right, all right! I will try to do. Everything you are suggested to me. So, enough girls?”. Rani asked while she observed intently her friends one by one.
“ Sure, Ran. Good luck!”. Tya said.
“ Yeah, Ran. We always be with you, honey!”. Tya, Rya and Gadis smiled together and gave her a support. Rani smiled happily. She felt luck having friends like Tya, Rya and Gadis. They always support her in any problems.

Gossip around Rani’s story who has a bodyguard, the most handsome bodyguard in Chandrawinata High School more and more became popular. It was caused by Rani and Randy. Both are the popular students in that school. Rani is a girl who has usual face but she has an excellent smile and she is a younger sister from former leader of Basketball team in her school. Her elder brother is Gani. One of alumni in Chandrawinata High School where was very honored by all of students over there. Thus, Randy is the most popular boy in this school accompanying his handsomeness and a lot of talent. So that, everyone always talked them continuously.
Rani got hard headache, when everyone talked about her anytime and anywhere. Sometimes her ears caught unsatisfied voices anywhere. She also got abuse which could make ears hot and sometimes she received anonymous letter whereas someone would make ignorance on her. Her life became worried. Everyday when she walks in corridor school, some girls looked at her with big eyes and she should entrust for that. This condition might be happen because Randy still watching over her steps. Actually, Rani ever begging Randy to stop trailing her. But, Randy always gave some reasons. For example, he told that he only coincidentally have the same direction or place where Rani wanted to go.
In other side, Rani also often held up by some mean girls. In this moment, Stacy’s gang, a group with full of arrogant girls in it, stopped her.
“ Hei, Ran. I know that you used magic to make Randy bow?”. Stacy said following by her friends laughing.
“ Because, I’m sure that, impossible, VERY, VERY impossible Randy can be bent down under your hand even following you everywhere”. Rani became silent. She felt so insulted. She wanted to revenge Stacy’s statement, but Randy was coming and made disorder.
“ Stop talking anymore!”. Randy said sharply. “ I don’t wanna hear something stupid from your mouth. Don’t ever disturb Rani again! If not, you all can make me angry. So…so angry. Remember that!”. Randy threaten. Stacy’s gang became scary saw Randy’s anger. They directed run off from that place.
Unfortunately, Rani wasn’t happy. Exactly, she became angry. She pulled Randy’s hand to corner of class XI Sains.
“ What are you doing here?!”. Rani asked. Randy wondered to see Rani’s response. “ I just want to save you from the bad girls, Ran”.
“ I don’t NEED that!!”. Rani shouted while stared at Randy. Actually, she thought he is a good looking boy, but she was very angry, so she didn’t care with it.
“ I don’t like you. I don’t like you because you always following me. I hate…I hate you so much. So I’m begging you, start on this moment you should as far as possible from me. Don’t EVER show your face anymore. Understood ?!”. finally, she couldn’t control herself and talked too much emotically. She eyed Randy and he replied Rani’s stared with cold expression. There was purity atmosphere between them.
“ If you want it”. Randy said suddenly. Then, he turned over and left her. A glance, Rany saw dissaponted sight on his eyes. But, Rani didn’t care. In this time, she relieved and satisfied because she succeed put Randy away from her life. But, maybe she would be right and maybe wrong about that.

Since the accident, Randy was seriously to prove her wish. He never followed Rani again, even Rani was very difficult to see him. Firstly, Rani felt happy because students have stopped to talk her. But, she didn’t know why she always got strange feelings. Those feelings made her redtless, didn’t nice to eat, troubled to sleep and anymore. She always thought Randy. She was sorry with her statement which probably hurted him.
In the school, Rani became frustration. She felt lonely and lost her mind. Sometimes, she didn’t aware if she tried to seek Randy. But, she never saw him again around her class,. Actually, she wanted to go Randy’s class, class XII Sains. Yet, she wasn’t brave to do that. Her feelings became sad and gloomy. With a little spirit, Rani came to class XI Sains where nobody’s over there. When she wanted to sit, she saw a paper on her desk. She took and readed it. She guessed that the letter was written by Tya, because she knew her handwriting. Rani readed Tya’s message ( she thought the letter from her ).

What’s the matter? Rani asked question for herself. Why did Tya want to meet her in the warehouse? If just for talking something why should be in that place? Rani confused. She stole a glance at her watch.
“ I have only fifteen minutes before class begin”. She mumbled. “ Well, I will go there now. Ehm, I wanna know what does she want to me!”.
She directed go to the storehouse to see Tya. She didn’t realize if an eagle-eyed was staring her thoroughly. After Rani arrived in the storehouse, she became confuse. There were not Tya or maybe Rya and Gadis in that place. The place was
“ Ah, shit! She is kidding me”. She grumbled. Some few minutes later, she heard feet strides. “ Hmmm, I’m sure that Tya is coming”. Rani guessed.
“ Tiaa, what’s the….”. Rani did not continue her saying when there were not Tya, Gadis or Rya came into the warehouse. Her feeling became fidgety when she saw Sony with two of his friend entered.
“ What hell are you doing here?!” Rani asked sharply.
“ Ha? I guess that I have told you if I want to meet you in here, right?” Sony said while he blinked his eyes to Rani. She felt abhorrent and afraid.
“ You’re sure wrong. I want to see Tya, not you all.”
“ Tya?!” One of Sony’s friend was laughing to hear that. He is Dandy. “ You’re so dump. Do you forget with my talent? You’re cheated by me. Hahahaha”.
Rani got languid, everybody knew that Dandy mastered in imitating every person handwritings. One of them was Tya’s handwriting. She truly forgot it.
“ Whatever. I go!” Rani tried to get out and she strode to the door. Suddenly Sony stopped her while he stretched his hands blocked Rani’s step.
“ What do you want?” Rani asked although she scared and worried.
“ I just wanna say, if I love you, Ran”. Sony smiled. “ I want you can be my girlfriend”.
Rani shocked heard Sony’s saying. As she knew, exactly he had feeling on her from she was second grade in Chandrawinata Junior High School. Actually, Chandrawinata School included of Kindergarten, Elementary School, Junior High
“ I’m so-sorry Son. I only see you as my friend. I can’t be your girlfriend”. Rani stared Sony cautiously. “ I hope you may understand me”. Sony became angry. He couldn’t accept Rani’s response.
“ I have never been denied by any girls!!” He said while he kicked a broken chair near him. BRUUUKKKKKKKKKK. Rani felt so shocked and afraid.
“ That’s right. You’re so arrogant!” Sony’s friend, Andy said continued. “ do you think you’re so beautiful, then you dare to deny Sony?!”
“ Hahahahaha. I think so, Andy. She is the only stupid girl in the world”. Dandy repeated.
“ SHUUUT UUUP!!!” Sony shouted unexpectedly. Nobody was brave enough to spoke. He stared Rani as a knife.
“ Listen me carefully, Ran. I don’t like you always deny me. I don’t care what are you saying before”. He stared Rani again and smiled cruelly.
“ The main thing is you should be my girlfriend right now!”. While he spoke, Sony kept advanced to push Rani. When she saw Sony’s attitude, Rani became horrible. She kept go back and back up from him. It was a pity, when she couldn’t go back again because was blocked by the wall. Sony was more closely. Rani so scared, she tried to shout but her throat felt strangled.
Sony incarcerated Rani’s movement. She kept struggling to get free and hited Sony’s body. But, she didn’t work. Sony was stronger. Thus, Sony held firmly Rani’s hands and tried to kiss her.
“ NOOO…LEAVE ME OUT!!!” Rani shouted and cried. A tears began streamed down on her cheeks. She imagined Randy for a while. Supposed, she didn’t chase away Randy, probably she would be safe. Randy could protect her from anybody who wants disturb her like Sony and his friends.
“ Randy, help me!” Rani whispered in her crying and sobbing while still tried kept Sony away from her face.
BRAAAAAKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK. The storehouse’s door strucked hardly. Rani very relieved when she saw Randy was standing angrily over there. His white face and handsome became bright red held anger, while he double one’s fists his hands. Spontaneous, Sony stopped his action.
“ LEAVE HER GO!!” Randy shouted angrily. Randy’s voice felt thunder in that small room. The last thing was heard by Rani as Sony’s commanded to his friends for swarm over Randy. After that, she closed her eyes and her ears very tightly tried didn’t hear the fighting. In quiet, Rani was sobbing sadly. She didn’t know how long the fighting continued, till someone shaked her shoulder repeatedly.
“ Don’t! don’t disturb me!!” Rani shouted hysterical.
“ Ran, Ran. Calm down, it’s me, Randy!” The soft voice pitched entered her ears. Slowly, Rani opened her eyes and saw Randy squatted in front of her. Immediately, Rani huged Randy. She spilled the whole of her sorrow. The accident was very nauseating and embarrassing for her. Then they left the place together.
Rani looked Randy’s back which she didn’t know why it made her warm and safe. “ Ran, you may go back to your class”. Randy said while smiled to her. “ I want go to headmaster office for give a report”.
At the moment, Rani reminded with Sony and his friends condition after the
fighting where they scattered with skinned and bruised in that place. While Randy
“ Randy!” Rani called. Randy turned over his body. “ What’s up, Ran?”
“ I love you”. Rani said. She didn’t aware when she spoke the three amazing words. UPS! Rani closed her mouth. Her face redden. Randy also seemed shocked. Rani wants to run off from that place, but her feets felt freeze over and amazement. Although, Randy shocked, now he was smiling.
“ I love you too, Ran”. Randy whispered the amazing words on her ear. Once again, Rani’s face redden and she could feel the hard heartbeat inside. Rani was embarrassing, but she was happy and relieved that Randy had the same feeling.
“ Ran, I think you should go to the class, now. The lesson was going on”. Randy suggested.
“ Ok”. Rani nodded.
“ See you, Ran”. Randy continued while he gave the best smile before turned over his body left Rani.
Rani kept and still smiled. She never guessed that she could love Randy because she had ever been really hated him. Finally, she belief that a hate could be a love. That is love. Sometimes it might come in the unexpected time and also on unfathomable person. Love is amazing.
